Eliská – one of London’s quirkiest home design shops – and a host of other independent interiors, beauty and fashion retailers and restaurants in Portman Village’s exclusive New Quebec Street, are hosting a first ever pre-Christmas one-evening only shopping event.

It’s all going on in one street – you’ll find every shop offering amazing discounts, (some offering sample sale prices) and complimentary food & drink – there’s even a fabulous choir on hand to get you in the festive mood

Come and visit interior design guru Eliská at her eclectic and funky homewares shop between 5pm and 9pm on Thursday 17th November 2011, as well as a host of other independent retailers and restaurants on New Quebec Street in Portman Village, London W1 and you could have Christmas all wrapped up before December has even started.

It promises to be fun night, with a wide selection of things to do, see and try.

We had a very successful evening of art here at eliská, with fabulous head sculptures by Genc Mulliqi and beautiful paintings by Viktor Ferraj. Many people came and enjoyed browsing through the art works and sipping champagne; we were here until well after 10.30pm!

Come, view, meet the artists & enjoy champagne & nibbles

What: Eliská Sapera – one of the UK’s leading interior designers – is hosting a unique art exhibition & sale of Albania’s two leading artists, Genc Mulliqi and Viktor Ferraj at her London showroom. Mulliqi specialises in creating extraordinary sculptures and abstract paintings, whilst Ferraj is renowned for his extraordinary mixed media works.

Why: Drop by after work. It’s free! And you’ll get a rare chance to enjoy, first hand, the incredible, innovative and unusual artwork, of two eastern bloc geniuses…whilst enjoying champagne and nibbles. In addition you’ll meet Genc Mulliqi in the flesh and be able to question him about the inspiration behind his artworks.

The Portman Square Garden Party for Great Ormond Street

So we have been very busy here in the shop this week, which is certainly nice- but it can get a bit hectic!

The Portman Square Garden Party in aid of the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital is coming up on Monday 6th. For this brilliant cause eliskà has donated 500 bottles of Brooke Green body wash and lotion. We do hope there will be a great turnout of people; it will be good fun and it’s for charity!
