A Magnificent silver plated luxury biscuit barrel or cookie jar with embossed decoration and decorative finial to top of hinged lid and all sitting on an attached plate. Made in c. 1885.
The barrel is in excellent condition and very impressive, it could be used also as decoration or a Tea Caddy or Tea Box.
